Get Hitched For As Little As £5000 At De Courceys Manor!
My wife and I started our venue hunt not long after our engagement in 2018, we didn’t want to overwhelm ourselves so we narrowed the search down to three venues, Decourceys being one.
De Courceys Manor was the last venue to visit (not by choice) and as the saying goes, ‘keep the best until last’.
When we arrived at the manor we were greeted by Abby whom may I add is one of the nicest people you will have the pleasure of meeting. We were asked to join her in the cocktail room prior to the venue tour where we were offered a beverage. It is worth noting out of the three venues visited, De Courceys Manor were the only one to offer this. My wife and I fell in love with everything De Courceys Manor had to offer so choosing the venue came easy to us. The manor recently updated their decor which adds a touch of class to the venue. We scheulded a second visit with Lewis whom made us laugh from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. My parents couldn’t get enough of him. Again we were offered free drinks (alcoholic) to take with us whilst he showed us the apartment suites as well as the cottages which are 5*. The apartment suite is truly amazing and the perfect place to get ready on the day of your wedding.
Throughout the months my wife liaised with Abby where nothing was too much trouble.
The manor itself is beautiful and a visit is a must. We were very fortunate to have beautiful weather on the day of our wedding, where the sun shone through the ceremony room and the floral room making it truly breathtaking. We cannot wait to see the professional photos to showcase this.
On the day of the wedding an external company failed to deliver the white aisle runner for our ceremony, Abby/Lewis took control of the situation and handled it in such a professional manner that Kate and I didn’t have to worry about anything.
Now on to the food.. I personally want to thank the chefs at Decourcey’s because the food was amazing. It comes as no surprise why De Courceys Manor is ranked number 2 on Tripadvisor. From the starter to the evening buffet, every dish was 5*. I wish I had more.
If we were to do our wedding again, we would choose De Courcey Manor in a heart beat. Every member of staff were friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble.
